Bethany's ride to New York on the Peter Pan bus acts as her initial descent into her dream. I created a bus engine background as well as the sounds of passing cars to underscore the scene; instead of using recordings, though, I created the sounds completely from scratch using traditional synthesizer waves. In addition to the inherent musicality that this process adds to the sounds, I wanted to create an introductory unease for the audience, like something is not quite natural.
